My Captured Moment – Friends

Photo 27-10-2014 22 58 54

I am lucky enough to have an amazing group of yummy mummy friends. Many of us met at a post-natal group when our bubbas were about 6 weeks old. Others have been sucked into the group along the way.

We are now the best of friends and I love them all dearly. I chat to them everyday via Facebook and I see them at least once a week.

Our babies were all born within two months of each other and it is lovely to watch them growing up side by side. They are becoming the best of friends and it is adorable that at 20 months old they know each other’s names.

The moment above was captured at a Sunday lunch in early November 2014. 14 adults and 7 toddlers went for lunch at The Barnyard in Gore Farm, followed by a walk around the farm to see the animals. After walking for a while some of the toddlers got tired legs and needed to be carried.

Sadly, not all the yummy mummies and their toddlers are in the photo above. Yet the photo still represents my friendship with these amazing women. It represents the way we have developed together as mothers and have learnt from one another (including the benefits of baby wearing).

I love these women. There are many times that I would have crumbled without their support. They are always there to offer love, advice, comfort, laughter or a shoulder to cry on. I would do anything for them and their families and they have already gone out of their way to support us on numerous occasions.

My first ‘My Captured Moment’ post is dedicated to these wonderful, clever, funny and beautiful women. You are all amazing mothers and I am in awe of each and every one of you. Thank you for being my friend.

Hugs

Mrs H

PS Do you have amazing friends? Is there a captured moment that represents your friendship?

Great photo which depicts beautifully the importance of having like-minded mummy friends when you have young children. My NCT have been an invaluable source of support over the past three and a half years and it’s great that we all still meet up regularly. x

It’s so lovely to have people you get on with so well who also have little ones who can form similar close friendships. Long may it continue!

Great photo of such important friendships. It’s so vital to have a good support network of mummy friends when you have little ones, isn’t it. I was lucky to join an NCT group which has stuck together over the past three years and their support has been very precious. x
