Once again, I’m joining in with the gorgeous Heledd over at Running in Lavender and her linky, My Captured Moment.

The idea is simply to share photographs that have captured a special moment in life. A moment to treasure and remember forever.

This week, I have found the perfect photograph. It is a picture that always makes me grin like the Cheshire Cat.

My Captured Moment – To infinity and beyond!

moment

I adore this picture of Little Miss H in her NASA uniform. That cheeky face is adorable.

Little Miss H has Spare Parents: four Spare Mums and one Spare Dad. One of her Spare Mums is a hugely inspiring lady called Auntie N.

Auntie N encourages Little Miss H to believe that she can be whatever she wants to be in life. That you are never too young to start having big dreams.

And so when Little Miss H was 10 months old she received a parcel in the post from Auntie N. In this parcel was an astronaut uniform. At nearly one she was the perfect age to dream of reaching the stars.

Little Miss H is obsessed with the sky, moon and stars. “Stars”, “sky” and “moon” were some of her first words.  To her, these balls of rock and gas are magical. She is in awe of their beauty.

I love the pride and happiness on her little face in this picture. She is thrilled to be in her uniform and wearing her NASA cap. This one moment is enough to make me believe that one day our darling daughter will go to the moon and back.

Do you have any fabulous photographs of your children in costumes?

Hugs

Mrs H

That is fantastic! I love it… and is very apt because her mummy loves her to the moon and back again.
We love stars too… no nasa costumes but we do have the star constellation of Cassiopeia (Andromeda’s mother) on Little Miss’ bedroom ceiling. Cassiopeia was banished to the stars for believing that her daughter was the most beautiful thing on earth.
Very apt for us mummies and daughters xxxxxx
