Welcome back to Sunday Stars.
It was wonderful to be back hosting Sunday Stars a few weeks ago and to read some great posts. You really are a very talented group of people.
This week has been a little hit and miss. I was sick at the beginning of the week and poor Mr H had to come home from London to look after Little Miss and I.
It must have been a 24 hour bug as I was feeling much better the next day. And since then Little Miss H and I have had a lovely week seeing friends, building dens and eating waffles. I hope you have all had fun and have managed to avoid getting drenched in the awful weather.
This linky is designed to give bloggers a place to share their favourite posts; old and new. If there is a post that you are particularly proud of or a post that you feel did not receive the love it deserved then please link it up. As those are the types of posts that we want to read.
The blogging world is filled with hugely talented individuals. Each week that talent is displayed for all to see on #SundaysStars and that makes me proud.
Last week’s star posts
- International Elf Service’s post How to speak to my non-verbal child. This is a hugely important post that provides practical tips on how to talk to a non-verbal toddler.
- Slouching towards Thatcham’s post When little days are the best days. This is a lovely post that tells the story of the Tour de Thatcham. And shows how sometimes the best family days out are the simplest family days out.
If you haven’t read these posts then please go and have a look and show them some #SundayStars love.
This week my lovely friend Karen from Stopping at Two is my co-host. If you have never read Karen’s blog then you NEED to go and give it a thorough investigation now. It is fantastic and was short-listed in the family category of the 2015 Brilliance in Blogging Awards.
She has recently written some brilliant posts about how to help your child start at school. One post contains tips from a primary school teacher and the other post is packed with advice from PTA UK. They are a must read for any parent who is dreading sending their little one to school for the first time in September.
Karen and I are both on twitter and ready and waiting to retweet all your posts. Please remember to mention myself @mrshsfavthings, Karen @karenjwhitlock and @SundaysStars and use the hashtag #SundaysStars. If you do this then we promise to give you a RT.
If you are going to join in then there are a few rules that we would like you to follow.
Please note that we have made a change to the rules. You will now only be able to add one post to the linky:
Link up your favourite post. You can link up one post; old or new. We’d love to see any post that you are really proud of.
Add our badge. You can find our fabulous Sunday Stars badge at the bottom of the page. Please copy the html code and add it to the bottom of your post.
Share the love. To make sure that everyone receives some Sunday Stars love please make sure that you comment on at least two other posts, including the one just before your own.
The linky will close at 11.55pm on Wednesday. Giving you plenty of time to link up your star post.
