Welcome back to Sunday Stars.
Hello my lovely Sunday Stars. How are you? I hope that you are all well and have been enjoying this wonderful weather that we have been having.
Little Miss H and I have been out and about exploring our new home town. We have enjoyed many wonderful walks in the woods behind our house. Next week I want to go for a walk in there and forage for some autumnal goodies. I also plan to make a batch of these yummy lemon and honey fairy cakes which Mandy from Sneaky Veg created for a guest post on this blog.
What are your plans for next week? I hope we continue to be blessed with blue skies and sunshine.
Anyway, enough small talk. Let’s get on with Sunday Stars.
This linky is designed to give bloggers a place to share their favourite posts; old and new. If there is a post that you are particularly proud of or a post that you feel did not receive the love it deserved then please link it up. As those are the types of posts that we want to read.
Thanks so much to the gorgeous Katie from Mami2five and the wonderful Julia from Rainbeaubelle for hosting last week. Julia hasn’t hosted for a while and it is fantastic to have her back as part of the Sunday Stars team.
Thank you to everyone who linked up. There were some amazing posts. The blogging world is filled with hugely talented individuals. Each week that talent is displayed for all to see on #SundaysStars and that makes me proud.
Last week’s star posts
- The first star post is Proud to be called ‘Mum’ by Sugar and Rhubarb. This is a beautiful post and I felt every word of it. Being a mum is a wonderful thing and it is something to always treasure.
- Our second star post is one of the funniest posts I have read this year. The post is Toddler Towers: Are all toddlers Basil Fawlty? and was written by R is for Hoppit. I was in giggles reading this hysterical comparison of toddlers and the infamous Mr Fawlty.
If you haven’t read these posts then please go and have a look. I promise you that you won’t be disappointed.
This week the gorgeous Steph from Diary of a Midlife Mummy is my co-host. If you don’t know Steph’s blog then please pop over and have a look. Diary of a Midlife Mummy was one of the very first mummy blogs I read and I love it.
Steph and I are both on twitter and ready and waiting to retweet all your posts. Please remember to mention myself @mrshsfavthings, Steph @midlife_mummy and @SundaysStars and use the hashtag #SundaysStars. If you do this then we promise to give you a RT.
If you are going to join in then there are a few rules that we would like you to follow.
Please note that we have made a change to the rules. You will now only be able to add one post to the linky:
Link up your favourite post. You can link up one post; old or new. We’d love to see any post that you are really proud of.
Add our badge. You can find our fabulous Sunday Stars badge at the bottom of the page. Please copy the html code and add it to the bottom of your post.
Share the love. To make sure that everyone receives some Sunday Stars love please make sure that you comment on at least two other posts, including the one just before your own. Steph and I are always very grateful if you could comment on the posts that we have linked up.
The linky will close at 11.55pm on Wednesday. Giving you plenty of time to link up your star post.
