Welcome back to Sunday Stars.
I can’t quite believe that it is Sunday Stars time already. October seems to have passed in the blink of an eye.
And now November is here. The weather has changed and the view from our living room window is wintery. My warm boots, scarves and coats are out of storage. Plans are being made for Christmas and before we know it 2016 will be here.
I hope that you all had a wonderful October. Little Miss H and I have both had a virus that has lasted all month. But we are now beginning to feel human again.
Illness hasn’t stopped us from being hugely busy. We’ve tried new play groups, made Halloween crafts, seen friends and done a lot of baking! Little Miss H has taken a liking to baking and it is the perfect activity for a rainy afternoon.
I’m also hugely excited about running my very first competition on this here blog. Eeeek!
I have teamed up with Three to celebrate the amazing photographic capabilities of the iPhone 6s. I am giving my readers the chance to win a fabulous mobile photography kit which includes a bubble pod, a mini light box with four different coloured backgrounds and two mini studio lights. This is a fabulous prize for any blogger or anyone who wishes to improve their mobile photography.
To enter, head over to the competition and comment with your best mobile photography tip. The competition closes at midnight on Wednesday 25th November and the prize will go to the person who gives the best photography tip. I hope to see lots of you enter.
Anyway, on with Sunday Stars.
This linky is designed to give bloggers a place to share their favourite posts; old and new. If there is a post that you are particularly proud of or a post that you feel did not receive the love it deserved then please link it up. We would love you to join us.
The blogging world is filled with hugely talented individuals. Each week that talent is displayed for all to see on Sunday Stars and that makes me proud.
Last week’s star posts
- The first star post is It can wait from Chronicles of a thirsty Dad. This is a lovely post about wanting to freeze time and stop our kids growing up.
- Our second star post is this thought-provoking piece from Mummy and Monkeys: I was bullied for being thin. I know that it took a lot of courage to publish this post and I am so pleased that Eilidh wrote it.
If you haven’t read these posts then please go and have a look. I promise you that you won’t be disappointed.
This week the gorgeous Steph from Diary of a Midlife Mummy is my co-host. If you don’t know Steph’s blog then please pop over and have a look. Steph wrote this amazingly funny post about an embarrassing moment in a play suit and it is still one of my favourite posts written by any blogger.
Steph and I are both on twitter and ready and waiting to retweet all your posts. Please remember to mention myself @mrshsfavthings, Steph @midlife_mummy and @SundaysStars and use the hashtag #SundaysStars. If you do this then we promise to give you a RT.
If you are going to join in then there are a few rules that we would like you to follow.
Please note that we have made a change to the rules. You will now only be able to add one post to the linky:
Link up your favourite post. You can link up one post; old or new. We’d love to see any post that you are really proud of.
Add our badge. You can find our fabulous Sunday Stars badge at the bottom of the page. Please copy the html code and add it to the bottom of your post.
Share the love. To make sure that everyone receives some Sunday Stars love please make sure that you comment on at least two other posts, including the one just before your own. Steph and I are always very grateful if you could comment on the posts that we have linked up.
The linky will close at 11.55pm on Wednesday. Giving you plenty of time to link up your star post.
