Welcome back to Sunday Stars.
Happy Sunday. I hope that you are all having a lovely weekend and that the weather has been kind to you.
We’ve had quite a busy month since I last hosted Sunday Stars.
We’ve spent time with lots of friends and family, gone on play dates, day trips and to soft play and I’ve eaten far too much chocolate. I also reached a huge milestone in my pregnancy.
I am now 25 weeks pregnant which means that I have passed 24 weeks and the baby is now viable. I am so excited to get to this stage.
During the first trimester, when I was constantly anxious and worried, I never believed that I would reach this stage in the pregnancy. I didn’t dare hope.
So to celebrate, Little Miss H and I had great fun producing a little update video.
I was intending for the video to be a lot longer. But it is true when they say you should never work with children or animals. I am still in the middle of producing a video of outtakes. I promise that it will be worth the wait.
This linky is designed to give bloggers a place to share their favourite posts; old and new. If there is a post that you are particularly proud of or a post that you feel did not receive the love it deserved then please link it up. We would love you to join us.
Thanks so much to the gorgeous Katie from Mami2five for hosting last week. Karen from Mini Ventures who normally hosts with Katie was having a week off. She is currently on holiday with her family in Orlando (I am not at all jealous). If you don’t already follow her on instagram then do go and have a look at all her holiday pictures. It looks like they are having the most amazing time. (Again, not jealous)!!
Thank you to everyone who linked up last week. Sadly, we had issues with Twitter so we didn’t have as many people as normal link up. Hopefully, everything will go to plan this week and we will have lots of our favourite bloggers share their best posts with us.
Last week’s star post
- Katie’s star post from last week is by Gym Bunny Mummy. Fight Club: Battling everyday for my special boy is a very powerful piece of writing and just highlights how hard a mother has to fight for her son to ensure that he gets the help he needs and deserves.
If you haven’t read this post then please go and have a look. I am sure that many of you will recognise the battles that Gym Bunny Mummy describes.
This week’s Sunday Stars
This week the gorgeous Steph from Diary of a Midlife Mummy is my co-host. If you don’t know Steph’s blog then please pop over and have a look.
Steph and I are both on twitter and ready and waiting to retweet all your posts. Please remember to mention myself @mrshsfavthings, Steph @midlife_mummy and @SundaysStars and use the hashtag #SundayStars. If you do this then we promise to give you a RT.
If you are going to join in then there are a few rules that we would like you to follow.
Link up your favourite post.
You can link up one post; old or new. We’d love to see any post that you are really proud of.
Add our badge.
You can find our fabulous Sunday Stars badge at the bottom of the page. Please copy the html code and add it to the bottom of your post.
Share the love.
To make sure that everyone receives some Sunday Stars love please make sure that you comment on at least two other posts, including the one just before your own. Steph and I are always very grateful if you could comment on the posts that we have linked up.
The linky will close at 11.55pm on Wednesday. Giving you plenty of time to link up your star post.
Next week’s hosts will be the fabulous Amy from Everything Mummy. The gorgeous Heledd from Running in Lavender gave birth to a beautiful little girl the other week. So she is taking a much earned maternity leave from Sunday Stars.
