Rainbow Design’s Classic Winnie the Pooh Toys – Review and Giveaway

I adore Winnie the Pooh. I always have. There is something so lovable and endearing about the characters from A. A. Milne’s Winnie the Pooh and House on Pooh Corner. I’ve always had a particularly soft spot for Tigger and Eeyore. As I love their contrasting characteristics; the gloom of Eeyore and the bouncing exuberance of Tigger.

I want my children to also appreciate the wonder of Winnie the Pooh and his friends. One of Little Mister H’s Spare Parents bought him a beautiful framed Winnie the Pooh print for his nursery. But I also wanted him to own some Winnie the Pooh toys. So I was thrilled when Rainbow Designs asked if we wanted to review some of their new Classic Pooh collection. And I was even more excited to learn that Little Mister H was being sent an Eeyore Comfort Blanket and a Tigger Soft Toy.

Eeyore Comfort Blanket and Tigger Soft Toy

I love the fact that the Eeyore Comfort Blanket and Tigger Soft Toy are Classic Pooh and are based on the illustrations by E H Shepard. And both my son and my daughter are clearly smitten by classic Tigger and Eeyore.

They are also both super soft and cuddly. Little Mister H loves stroking the Eeyore Comfort Blanket against his face because he likes how it feels. This softness means that the toys are perfect for newborn babies. Also, the toys do not include any buttons or beads, instead all features are sewn on.

It is the attention to detail which makes these soft toys extra special. The pink bow and the sewn pin tack on Eeyore’s tail are adorable. I also liked the different textures of the soft fur and the cord bellies of both toys. And each toy has a Hundred Acre Wood badge that just adds to the charm.

And the faces of the characters are completely gorgeous. Just too cute!  When we unboxed these toys, Little Miss H uttered:

“They are just too cute!”

A sure sign that she has fallen in love with a soft toy. Yet, I’ve given both Eeyore and Tigger to Little Mister H as he really doesn’t have many soft toys.  And Little Mister H adores them. I put him to bed tonight with the Eeyore Comfort Blanket tucked safely under his arm and the Tigger Soft Toy lying by his side. A content little boy with his favourite soft toy and comfort blanket!
