As a busy mum, I sometimes struggle to look after my hair properly. When I’ve had a sleepless night I don’t want to spend valuable tea drinking time on hair care. But when my hair looks good, I feel better about myself and I often forget that I’m tired and sleep deprived. Christmas outfits from JoJo Maman Bébé

I love going into the shops at this time of year and seeing all the Christmas party clothes in stock. It makes me feel that the magic of Christmas is just round the corner. I recently spent a lovely time in my local JoJo Maman Bébé store lusting over all the gorgeous Christmas clothes for both Little Miss and Little Mister H. As a child my mum always bought me a special dress to wear on Christmas day. Knowing that…

What I Wore For Afternoon Tea At The Savoy

A photograph of a pregnant lady standing in a garden wearing a floral maternity dress from Tiffany Rose _ includes the title "what I wore ... for afternoon tea at the Savoy ... when 32 weeks pregnant" _ Mrs H's favourite things

Back in May, my best friend took me to afternoon tea at the Savoy. We live at opposite ends of the country and don't get to see each other that often. She knew that she wouldn't be able to throw me a baby shower and so this was her treat to me. She has been hugely supportive through all the miscarriages and is a fantastic spare mummy to Little Miss H. I know how happy she is that this pregnancy has gone…

How To Look After Sensitive Skin During Pregnancy

A photograph of a brunette lady with minimal make-up, natural skin, a side ponytail and wearing a blue and white striped top - includes the title "Pregnancy skincare for sensitive skin -tips, products and routines". _ Mrs H's favourite things

A woman stands in front of the grounds of a stately home, she has a warm winter coat by Trespass on, with the hood up and accessorised with a navy scarf _ includes the title "Finding the perfect coat with Trespass" _ Mrs H's favourite things

I love taking Little Miss H out to play in the sunshine. And as a family, one of our favourite ways to spend a Saturday is to go to a park, wood or stately home. Even when the weather is cold or wet, we bundle ourselves into out warm coats and head out doors. Time in the fresh air always blows away the cobwebs and puts us all in a better mood. But to make sure that we can get out of the…

The Final Countdown – A Month To Get Gorgeous!

I know exactly what I will be doing in a month’s time. I will be drinking prosecco, enjoying a baby free night and having a fantastic time. In a month’s time I am going to be Matron of Honour to the beautiful and wonderful soon-to-be Mrs S. I am beyond excited. It is going to be a fabulous day. However, something rather disturbing has just dawned on me. I am going to be in photos. Their photographer is hugely talented (check…
