Finding Happiness

Love The Little Things – Week 2

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

It is Monday and a perfect time to reminisce on the fun and frivolity that made last week wonderful. Once again I am linking up with the Love the Little Things linky over at the fabulous But Why Mummy Why?.

I haven’t really had the opportunity to read anything more than blogs this week. But that is okay, isn’t it? One of my favourite reads has been this post about How to grow your blog by the wonderful Hayley at Sparkles and Stretchmarks.

I find these advice posts so helpful. I feel that I am bluffing my way through blogging and I need all the help I can get. On that note, I am desperately waiting for the next post from Be a mummy blogger.

I have just got round to watching the last few episodes of the final season of How I Met Your Mother (HIMYM). I found it quite emotional to watch. I’ll miss those crazy guys!

Most of the final season has been disappointing. But I did really enjoy the last few episodes and I even approve of the ending. There were some legen- wait for it – dary Barney Stinson moments and that was enough to make me very happy.

Are you a fan of HIMYM? What did you think of the final season? I’d love to hear your thoughts. I know that some people have been really unhappy with the ending.

When it is this hot I only want to wear my hair in an up-do. It helps keep me cool and prevents my hair getting too greasy and sticking to my neck. Lovely!

A few years ago, I only ever wore my hair down or in a ponytail. But thanks to the wonder of Youtube hair tutorials (particularly those by Lilith Dark Moon) I can now plait, twist and bun to my hearts content.

Back in May, I took a trip into London to see Once: The Musical with the gorgeous Miss M. It starred Arthur Darvill, who Miss M and I both have a geeky crush on. It was a wonderful musical. One of the best I have seen. This week I have been reminding myself of some of the spine-tingling songs from the show. The music is beautiful:

Mr H and I have realised that we haven’t been spending much time as a family recently. We’ve decided to remedy this by making plans for lots of day trips over the next few months. I am so happy when I am with Mr H and Little Miss H and we are out and about exploring.

And lastly

I am going to be Maid of Honour at my bff’s wedding at the weekend. I have been desperately trying to tone up and lose a few pounds so that my dress isn’t too tight. You can read all about my mission to get gorgeous here: the final countdown.

I weighed myself this morning and I’ve lost a few pounds. Also, the shorts I wear when working out feel looser and I have gone up a level on the 30 Day Shred. I’m quite chuffed with myself

What did you do last week? I would love you to tell me all about it.

I am desperate to go and see Once the musical! It has been promised my the husband, but we’ve yet to go 🙁 The film is one of my favourites.
We love HIMYM too. I was very annoyed when I read a magazine the other week and it completely gave away the ending! Even though I knew what was coming I was still a little emosh about it all. xx

Hello. Thanks for reading. Sorry, I haven’t replied sooner. I have been uber busy!!!! You must go and see Once. It is one of the best musicals I have ever seen and I LOVE my musicals. It is completely unique and special. Plus, I’ve heard that Ronan Keating is going to star in it soon – so….! Also, I’m really glad that I wasn’t the only person who got emotional at the end of HIMYM. I think I may have got teary eyed! Hugs Mrs H xxxx
