Little Miss H is now 56 months old. She is four months away from being five years old. And today she lost her first tooth. It began wobbling on Saturday and then fell out today. It feels like a huge milestone and one that I was not ready for. I can’t quite believe that my baby girl is losing her baby teeth. When did she get so grown up?
Little Miss H has been at primary school since September and her baby days are far behind her. I’m sad that I never really recorded Little Miss H’s development. She has changed every day and yet I’ve barely noticed it happening.
When she was little I did briefly write a post called Little Miss H’s favourite things. These posts were a lovely way of recording her development and her interests. But unfortunately, as with Little Mister H’s updates, I gave up writing these posts. And this saddens me. Children change so quickly and you can blink and they seem to have grown up without you watching. That is certainly how I feel about both our children.
As Little Miss H has reached a new milestone, I decided that I wanted to start documenting our children’s development once again. But I was unsure how to do this on the blog. Then I read a post by one of my favourite bloggers, Hannah who writes at Make, Do & Push. Hannah does an interview with her children every 6 months. I love this idea. It’s such a lovely way of documenting how children change and develop over the months.
So I’ve decided that I would borrow from Hannah and start interviewing Little Miss H and Little Mister H on the blog. As Little Miss H now goes to school, I have also added some questions from the Starting School Tag that Leslie at MessyBlog created.
