There is less than a week until Mother’s Day but there is still plenty of time to find the perfect gift for the Mother in your life. I’ve produced a Mother’s Day gift list for anyone who is in need of inspiration. This gift list has something for everyone and I hope that it helps you to find the perfect present for your mum.
Mother’s Day Gift List
1. Grace Cole Body Duo – RRP £16.00 & Hand Cream – RRP £5.00
Grace Cole produce beautiful and luxurious products that come in gorgeous fragrances. They are the perfect pampering treat for your Mother.
I was sent the Grace Cole Body Duo in Nectarine Blossom and Grapefruit and I love it. I’m a huge fan of citrus scents and the light fruity perfume of the Bath & Shower Gel and Body Cream is divine. The Bath & Shower Gel creates a pampering and sweetly scented bubble bath but is equally cleansing as a shower gel. And the Body Cream is light enough to sink in quickly while being moisturising.
I was also sent the Softening Hand & Nail Cream in White Rose & Lotus Flower. The fragrance of white rose and lotus flower is beautiful. And the Softening Hand & Nail Cream is thick and creamy and soothes my dry hands.
2. Lumie Bodyclock Iris – RRP £160
The Lumie Bodyclock Iris has all the fabulous functions that you would expect from a Lumie Bodyclock. You can set the clock to wake you up with a gradual sunrise or help you drift off to sleep with a steady sunset. But the Lumie Bodyclock Iris adds a touch of luxury as the light therapy is combined with aromatherapy.
The Lumie Bodyclock Iris has been produced with Neal’s Yard. And it has twin aromatherapy chambers so that you can easily switch between morning and evening essential oils. I like to have relaxing lavender as I drift off to sleep at night and then the invigorating orange essential oil to wake me up in the morning. And thanks to the remote control this can easily be set up.
3. Buttermilk Strawberry Bellini Fudge – £2.99 for the 100g box
If your Mother has a sweet tooth but chocolates seem too much of a cliché, then consider buying some flavoured fudge. Buttermilk makes gorgeous flavoured fudge. I was sent the Strawberry Bellini Fudge Box to try. And I’m ashamed to say that I didn’t share the fudge with anyone else as it was far too tasty.
The strawberry and prosecco flavoured pieces of fudge are topped with white chocolate and popping candy. And they are delicious and the perfect gift for your Mother on Mother’s Day. Also, why not serve the fudge with a glass of prosecco and some chocolate covered strawberries for an extra special treat.
Buttermilk fudge is available at selected outlets including Lakeland and the Buttermilk website. You can also buy a 150g box of fudge for a £3.99 from Waitrose.
4. The Chapel Mellifera (afternoon) Candle – RRP £65.00 & Hand Cream – RRP £16.00
The gift of a beautifully scented candle and a gorgeous hand cream are a winning combination for Mother’s Day. I know that it is a gift that I would be very happy to receive.
The founder of The Chapel hairdressing has teamed with the scent expert Fran Brown to create a calming fragrance collection designed to help mum’s pause and find a little time for themselves. This collection includes luxurious candles, pulse point eau de toilette and hand creams. Each item contains soothing formulations and information about mini relaxation techniques that your busy Mum can try at home.
The calming fragrance collection features three heavenly fragrances that represent different moods and different times of the day. I was sent The Chapel Mellifera, a calming and soothing scent that represents the afternoon. It is a lovely fragrance with notes of red apple, lavender, white rose and vanilla (among many others).
5. Adexe watch – Meek Grande Rose Gold – RRP £109.00
Every woman will love to receive jewellery on Mother’s Day. And the gift of a watch provides a present that is practical and beautiful. I’m completely in love with the Meek Grande Rose Gold watch from Adexe. It is stunning.
I adore the rose gold colour of the watch, it is not only pretty but it is also very on trend right now. The watch has a lovely large black face with a small date indicator and oversized rose gold Roman numerals.
The Meek Grande Rose Gold watch from Adexe has a spring bar opening mechanism. And the strap can be altered to perfectly fit the wrist. The watch is also waterproof and comes with a 5-year battery.
I really love this watch. It looks fabulous and I’ve worn it every day since I received it. And another thing, since wearing my Adexe watch I’ve felt much more organised and have used my time more wisely. Now that has to be a fantastic Mother’s Day gift.
6. Castelli Tucson Edge A5 Notebook Pink from The Gifted Notebook – RRP £13.50
I’m addicted to stationery. Mr H is always joking about the ridiculous number of notebooks that I have dotted around the house. But I love them. If you buy me a notebook as a gift then you are guaranteed to make me very happy.
This Castelli Tucson Edge notebook in pink from The Gifted Notebook is one of the loveliest notebooks I’ve seen. I adore the pink coloured page edges and the matching page ribbon, elasticated closure band and pen loop. It’s very striking and a really simple but lovely design.
The paper in the notebook is also of great quality and is sourced from sustainable forests. And this beautiful notebook is completed with the addition of a black and gold pencil.
Also, for an additional £2.50, this stunning notebook can be presented in a luxury Castelli Deluxe Gift Box. Making this the ideal present for your Mother. Especially if she is addicted to stationery as much as I am.
7. Olverum Bath Oil – 125ml – £29.00
One of my favourite things is to have a long and relaxing bath and read a good book. For a perfectly soothing bath, nothing quite beats a relaxing bath oil. Olverum Bath Oil is the most divine bath oil that I have ever used.
It is a highly concentrated and therapeutic bath oil which contains 10 pure essential oils that are carefully blended to work in harmony with one another. The other night, I felt stressed and my muscles were very tense. I had a bath with Olverum Bath Oil and instantly felt calmed and soothed. I then had the most amazing night’s sleep.
The Olverum Bath Oil also leaves my dry and somewhat rough skin silky smooth and moisturised. And after my bath, I smelt gorgeous. And I love the fact that the scent lingers as I go to sleep.
I really can’t speak highly enough of this divine bath oil. A bottle of Olverum Bath Oil would be the ideal present for any Mother.
8. Hallmark Lady & Tramp Itty Bittys – RRP £6.00 each
Who doesn’t love a soft toy? This Mother’s Day give your Mum a cute Itty Bitty from Hallmark. Itty Bittys were created when Adan Chung decided to take some popular licensed characters and see what they would look like if they were Itty Bitty. That initial sketch inspired a whole collection that continues to grow and includes characters from Disney, Marvel, DC Comics and Star Wars. I was sent these cute Lady and Tramp Itty Bittys. And they make an adorable Mother’s Day gift.
9. Soigné Nail Colour – Vodka Bleu & Papillon De Nuit – RRP £11.00
I love to paint my nails with bright colours. So the final item on my Mother’s Day Gift List is some fantastic nail colours from Soigné. Soigné is a French brand that creates luxury nail colour that is focused on caring for the nail and is inspired by Parisian fashion.
I was sent two colours for the purpose of the post, Vodka Bleu and Papillion De Nuit. The nail colours are highly pigmented and offer exceptional quality. But they are also beautifully presented and packaged which makes them a lovely gift for your mum on Mother’s Day.
A few extra gift ideas
Time for Tea
Send your mum off to have afternoon tea at a fabulous hotel like the Savoy or the Dorchester.
Tea for One
Or if your mum prefers to drink her tea at home, then this beautiful Reed bone china tea set for one (which is presented in a gift box) from Williams Edwards Home is perfect.
Arrange for your mum to have a few hours peace and pampering. The Space Retreat is holding special retreats to mark Mother’s Day. The All Mothered Up sessions are taking place in London (24th March 10:00 – 14:00 & 14:30 – 16:30) and Bristol (31st March 10:00 – 14:00). All sessions include a 30-minute luxury manicure and hand massage and a session on discovering your Mama Power. Your mum can then spend the rest of the time reading, napping, colouring, watching a film, eating yummy snacks or just being still. And if she needs childcare then The Space Retreat have qualified childminders on site who can take care of the little ones while your mum enjoys some self-care and pampering.
All mother’s need more sleep. Give her the gift of sleep by letting her have a lie in. Then present her with breakfast in bed. Allow her to stay in bed relaxing for the rest of the morning. And once she is finally ready to get up, run her a deep luxurious bubble bath and light a few candles. This sounds like the most heavenly way to spend Mother’s Day morning.
Don’t forget the card
I always love to receive a Mother’s Day card. And I have kept every Mother’s Day card that I’ve been given.
Hallmark has a fantastic choice of cards. You’ll find one for every type of Mother. And Hallmark also has a fabulous selection of cards for the other Mother figures in your life such as your Step Mum or your Nan. I particularly love the 3D bird house card.
What would you like for Mother’s Day? And what are you planning on giving your Mum on Sunday?
I was sent the items listed for the purpose of this gift list. But as always all the words, images and opinions are my own and are 100% honest. I will only write about products that I will willingly use myself or in this case buy for my Mum.
