AD – The Candylocks Dolls were gifted to us for the purpose of this review.

Little Miss H adores playing with her dolls hair. She can spend hours plaiting, twirling, tying ponytails and covering their hair with hair slides. So when I heard about the brand new Candylocks Dolls, I knew that Little Miss H would love them. And I wasn’t wrong.

Introducing Candylocks Dolls

Candylocks Dolls

Candylocks Dolls are a brand new collectible doll from Spin Master. The doll is suitable for age five and up and there are over 20 dolls to collect and each one has scented long hair.

This hair is in candy colours. It is long, soft and fluffy with a texture like cotton candy. The hair is perfect to style in any way that you can imagine. And Little Miss H spent ages putting her Candylocks Dolls’ hair in different styles. Buns, plaits, ponytails, knots – our dolls have already modelled every hairstyle!

Lacey Lemonade

Let me introduce Lacey Lemonade. She is gorgeous and Little Miss H instantly fell in love. She has baby pink and lemon yellow hair. Her hair is extremely long. In fact, the collector’s guide that comes with the doll is exactly the same length as her hair.

Lacey Lemonade’s hair smells of lemons. And she also comes with a number of accessories. She comes with her very own pair of sunglasses, a bag, a hair extension and hair chalk (to make her hair look even more fabulous)! Both her hair and her bag smell of yummy lemonade. And she wears the cutest outfit and shoes that match her hair.

Little Miss H loves the hair extension and the fact that it adds a vibrant dash of purple to Lacey Lemonade’s candy coloured hair. The hair extension easily fits into the top of the hair by the crown of the head. Little Miss H is also desperate to use the hair chalk but we haven’t tried this yet.

Kelly Bean

We were also sent the Scented Collectible Surprise three-inch doll. She comes in a cute little ice cream cone, with her cotton candy hair as the ice cream. You unwrap the hair and in the middle is your Candylocks Doll. Once Little Miss H unwrapped the blue and purple hair of her Candylocks Doll, she discovered that she had been sent Kelly Bean.

Little Miss H then had two blind bags to open. When she opened the first bag she discovered that it contained three hair gems to place in her Candylock Doll’s hair. And the second blind bag contained three hair accessories – one spiral hairband and two hair grips. Little Miss H loved using these hair accessories and they helped her to create many more hairstyles.

As always when Little Miss H gets given a collectible toy, she loves to peruse the collector’s guide to decide which doll she wants next. With 23 dolls to collect, there is quite a choice. But Little Miss H has set her heart on Straw Mary. A cute strawberry inspired doll with pink and green candy coloured hair. At least, we now know what to buy her for a Christmas present.

The only downside to the Candylocks Dolls is that their hair is very fragile and can shed. But this isn’t really a problem for us, as we don’t have pets and Little Mister H generally stays away from his sister’s toys.

However, Little Miss H adores her Candylocks Dolls and has played with them every day. She happily plays with them for hours and they have already been pupils in her class and the audience of one of her dance performances.

If your child loves collectibles then I would definitely take a look at Candylocks Dolls. They are gorgeous and very unique.

Hugs
