This is my seventh week joining in with the gorgeous Heledd over at Running in Lavender and her linky, My Captured Moment. The idea is simply to share photographs that have captured a special moment in life. A moment to treasure and remember forever.

My Captured Moment – bright eyes

captured moment

I think that this photograph is a perfect example of what Heledd intended when she created My Captured Moment.

It isn’t the best photograph in the world. But that doesn’t concern me. Because this photograph is of a captured moment that I will always treasure. As this is the moment that Little Miss H first opened her beautiful eyes.

Little Miss H got upset whilst being born and during birth the blood vessels burst in both of her eyes. This was painful and so she didn’t open her eyes until she was three days old.

When she did open them the little person that we now know and love emerged. Our bright eyed, happy, energetic, content and unique Little Miss H.

Do you remember the first time your little one opened their eyes?

Hugs

Mrs H

So gorgeous and you were so lucky to catch this moment. What a lovely story it will make to tell little Miss H when she is older about capturing her first glimpse of the world.

Aaah Luce — she’s so beautiful. It makes me almost want to cry when I look at photographs of the boys when they were first born. They’re so tiny and new. Amazing to think that those little eyes have never seen anything before. Just gorgeous xx #MyCapturedMoment

She will be two in May. I have no idea where the last two years have gone. They have been amazing. Hugs Mrs H xxxx

Thank you for your beautiful comment. My heart totally melted too. I can’t believe that she used to be that tiny and helpless. Although she was born at 8lbs 110z so she was never that tiny. Bless her! Hugs Mrs H xxxx
