I recently read this fabulous baby wish list from the beautiful and bloomin’ stunning Heledd at Running in Lavender. In this post, she mentioned her love for Baby Wearing. Which got me thinking about how much I loved wearing Little Miss H and how I miss it now that she flatly refuses to go anywhere near a carrier.
Rainbow Bean is due in July. And one of the things I am looking forward to the most is baby wearing a newborn. I can’t wait to wrap them up and have newborn snuggles.
Little Miss H was six months old when I bought my first wrap. It is a Lenny Lamb Bamboo Woven Wrap in Sunset Rainbow.
When Little Miss H became a toddler and was getting quite squirmy in the wrap I decided that I wanted to buy a soft structured carrier. I had been lusting after a Lenny Lamb Caffe Latte Lace design forever. And so I bought a toddler ergonomic carrier. It meant that Little Miss H could easily fit on my back and for a while she loved it.
But Little Miss H is a tall girl. She is on the 99.6th centile in height. And soon it became cumbersome to get her on my back. I certainly couldn’t do it on my own.
I can’t wait until I can wrap up our squishy newborn and wear them close to my heart.
Much to Mr H’s distress, I already have my eye on lots of new wraps and carriers. A stretchy, a ring sling, a Connecta and a baby ergo carrier. The list goes on and on. Sorry Mr H!
Baby wearing – My Captured Moment
In honour of my excitement that I will (hopefully) be baby wearing again in the summer, I thought that I would share some of my favourite baby wearing moments with Little Miss H.
Once again I am linking up with My Captured Moment, a beautiful linky run by my gorgeous friend Heledd who blogs at Running in Lavender. The idea is simply to share photographs that have captured a special moment in life.

Are you a fan of baby wearing? If so, what is your favourite wrap or carrier? Or do you have a carrier that you are lusting over?

February 3, 2016 at 9:52 pmCongratulations on your Rainbow Bean, fab news! Love the colour of the one in the first pictures. I wish I’d worn Charley more but I never found one that was very comfortable but I think Charley would have loved being close to me all the time! #MyCapturedMoment

February 2, 2016 at 2:35 pmThank you for the mention!! Isn’t baby wearing the best, I literally can’t wait to carry this little bundle around (on the outside). There are so many amazing benefits to mum (and dad for that matter) and baby. These pictures are gorgeous and really show the enjoyment you got out of carrying little Miss H. Thank you for linking up to #MyCapturedMoment xx
