I started shopping at Vertbaudet when I was pregnant with Little Mister H. Their maternity clothes are stylish and practical and I lived in them during my pregnancy.

There was one dress that I wore every week as I loved it so much. I have to admit that I am wearing it today. Almost four months after giving birth. It is just too comfy. And it looks perfect cinched in with a belt.

While browsing the website for maternity wear it seemed only fit and proper that I take a look at all the gorgeous baby clothes. And I fell in love with all the cute little bits for our baby boy.

A capsule wardrobe with Vertbaudet

I was thrilled when Vertbaudet offered to send me some clothes for Little Mister H from their autumn/ winter range. Their kid’s clothes are as gorgeous as their maternity clothes and I was spoilt for choice.

It has taken me a while but I have now perfected how I shop for my children. I no longer buy as and when needed or when I see something that I love. Instead, I buy them a capsule wardrobe.

This means that I purchase a number of items each season. All these clothes can be mixed and matched and worn in various combinations.

As the children then wear these clothes over and over again, I like to invest in good quality. And I stick to brands that make clothes that last and can stand some wear and tear.

A perfect capsule wardrobe for Little Miss H

Vertbaudet also has gorgeous clothes for girls and so I decided to put together a wish list for the perfect winter capsule wardrobe for Little Miss H.

It was difficult to only pick 16 items. But I eventually settled on a collection of clothes that will make Little Miss H the coolest kid in pre-school.

Our daughter knows what she likes and even though she is only three, she prefers to choose her own outfit and dress herself every morning.

She doesn’t like to wear jeans or trousers but I hope that the blush pink cords I have chosen would sway her. I have also picked dresses, skirts and a cute pair of denim shorts. All these will look fantastic with each of the tops I have chosen. And they can be dressed up with the black sequined ballet pumps or dressed down with the suede ankle boots.

I would happily wear those boots, the belted poncho cardigan and that cape style coat. Swoon. Do you ever find clothes for your children and just wish they would make them in your size?

The colours are gorgeous for winter. And all the clothes can be layered up on colder days. With the addition of some thick tights, a few pairs of knitted leggings, a snood, hat and mittens, this will be the ultimate winter wardrobe for any fashion conscious little girl. And even my very fussy three-year-old approves of my choices.
