There is nothing that we like more than snuggling down at night and reading the children their bedtime stories. So we were thrilled when we were chosen to review The Way Home For Wolf. A little wolf called Wilf is the main character in The Way Home For Wolf. Wilf is stubborn and won’t ask for help. He wants to do everything himself, thinking that he is stronger and braver than all the other wolves around him. But then he gets lost and is left alone in the snowy Arctic. It’s only with the help of a group full of animals that he is able to find his way home.

This book has the important messaging that everyone needs friends. And sometimes we all need a helping hand from those around us. The Way Home For Wolf is a feelgood story with a powerful message.

Little Mister H loves the illustrations in this book. They are absolutely stunning and capture the wildness of the Artic perfectly. I adore the pages that feature the Northern Lights. And if you look carefully at the Northern Lights you may even be able to see the silhouettes of the animals that help to rescue Wilf.

It’s so important to introduce your children to new vocabulary. Reading is the best way to do this. The Way Home For Wolf is a fun book with some wonderful rhyming. It also introduces your child to some of the animals of the Arctic. Little Mister H loves pointing out the different animals. Although, he still insists that the narwhal is a whale.
